President and CEO
Gord Gillespie joined West Wind Aviation as President and CEO in 2011 with over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry. He previously held the position of President of a large national transportation organization, where he was instrumental in the growth and diversification of the company. Gord embodies the same principles and values that are the basis of West Wind Aviation’s success. His leadership and vision are vitally important as West Wind Aviation looks forward to continued growth and success.
Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Rick has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and has held his CA designation since 1987. He is a member of both the Canadian and Saskatchewan Institutes of Charter Accountants. Rick joined West Wind in 1994, bringing experience in the areas of accounting, audit, taxation, and general business consulting. His responsibilities include financial reporting and strategic management as he directs the complex financial operations of West Wind Aviation.
Vice President Business Development & Customer Relations
Dennis has been a valuable member of the West Wind team since 1993, serving in various capacities including: Director of Operations for Saskatoon and Regina Aerocentres and Lancaster Aviation Fuels, International Airline Services General Manager, ExpressAir General Manager, and Pronto Airways VP & General Manager. In his current role, Dennis is responsible for business development, marketing and customer care for West Wind Aviation. Dennis was instrumental in the restructuring of Pronto Airways’ ownership and Pronto receiving the ABEX award for Aboriginal Business Development.
Vice President Corporate Services
Kaylynn Schroeder is Vice President Corporate Services for West Wind Aviation and is responsible for corporate services which includes human resources, facilities and northern fuels for our operation. Ms Schroeder is a senior business leader with more than thirty years of high profile leadership with a global mining company and First Nation owned businesses making her a strong fit for West Wind Aviation. She is active in the community as the Chair of the Committee of Review, Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation and Chair of the Occupational Health & Safety Council for the Province of Saskatchewan. In addition, Kaylynn serves on several boards including the Ronald McDonald House of Saskatchewan and the Immigrant Access Fund of Canada.
